Book Publishing by Zipolita

Blog post by Tina Winterlik © 2013!/zipolita @zipolita

Well some of you may have wondered where I have been. It's been a long time since I posted on here.

My apologies. But for the last month I have be super busy helping someone self-publish two books. That's right. I helped lay them all out and upload it all. They really are very unfamiliar with computers and photo-editing and so I helped them with all that.

I knew how to do it as I created a bunch of books a few years back.

Right now there is only one of them online.

The Fairy Journal - A mystical collection of fairy fotos. Support independent publishing: Buy this book on Lulu.

Curiously the person I sold the others to, is the same person that hired me to do their books. Funny how things go around like that.

So if you or someone you know wants help with self-publishing please do not hesitate to contact me.

Here's my book if you'd like to check it out. The price is high I understand but it cost a lot to print, so I hope you'll understand. At this time it is a very rare book as there have only been 3 ever printed. :D

I'll just mention that self-publishing any photo book is very expensive, so to really expect to sell them, from my experience it was very difficult. From a personal aspect though, if you wish to create a special personal momento then this is the way to go. A book is a wonderful keepsake that you can tuck away and pull out years later and it will bring back so many special memories. I hope to make many more some day about our Adventurez in Mexico.

Oh by the way last time I used and this time we used Blurb. So far we have been very pleased with the service. We created a 300 page book for about $200 with taxes and shipping.  A hefty price but then it depends on what value you can place a book that will bring you such joy as you reflect back on the special memories of your life such as the birth of a child, your wedding, or a once and life time trip. If you are just printing it for yourself I think it's well worth the value.

Please contact me with any questions you may have.
